• No Internet Connection: MetaJourney does not require an internet connection to function.
• No External Servers: MetaJourney does not use any servers to store or process user data.
• No Marketing or Advertising Use: MetaJourney does not utilize user data for marketing or advertising purposes.
• No Data Sharing: MetaJourney does not share user data with any third party under any circumstances.
• Built-In Security: MetaJourney is naturally secured by the Oculus platform’s built-in security settings.

Compliance and Audits

MetaJourney commits to:

1. Annual Self-Certification: We certify our compliance with this Privacy Policy and all applicable terms and policies.
2. Purpose and Use Verification: MetaJourney does not engage in data sharing. The inputs processed by the game are strictly limited to ensure compliance with this Privacy Policy.
3. Audit Readiness: MetaJourney is open to audits by Meta or any third party authorized by Meta to confirm compliance with this policy.

Processed Inputs

MetaJourney only processes the following inputs:

1. Headset Orientation and Position
2. Hand Controller Position, Orientation, and Button/Sensor Inputs

No other inputs, such as microphone data, are processed by MetaJourney.

Stored Data

• MetaJourney saves level completion status locally on the user’s device.
• This data is stored on the device and is not transmitted to any external server or system by MetaJourney itself.
• However, as part of the Oculus platform’s features, Meta may automatically back up this data to the cloud for syncing across devices. This backup is managed entirely by Meta and governed by Meta's privacy policies.
• Users can remove this data by clearing the app cache.
